Despite the cold and damp 480 1k & 5k runners took part in the 15th Bunny Run in Queens Park Caterham on Sunday 2nd April.

First boy and girl to cross the line in the 1k, which was not a timed race, were Finley Einecker and Chloe Kemp.

In the 5k race the first man home was Alix Ramsier in 16.25 mins and fastest lady home was Jo Vickers in 20.01 mins & 4th overall.

Every finisher in both events received an Easter egg and there were additional prizes presented to the best dressed who were awarded large chocolate bunnies, kindly sponsored by Vet on the Hill

Emily Watson’s Whoop Fitness & Well Being team led the warmup again this year.

Caterham Rotary Club’s organiser for this event, Peter Georgiades commented “We were delighted to have organised this event again which is now part of our annual community programme and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for next year’s event on Sunday 24th March.
