Following the success of last year’s “Evening of Music” charity event, we are are delighted to announce that we are holding a Diverse Evening of Delight by some of London’s finest musicians.

It will be held in the auditorium of Woldingham Girl’s School on Friday 1st April at 7.45pm. Tickets are priced competitively at £15.00 and can be ordered from caterhamrotary2@gmail.com

The artists taking part have all graduated with first-class honours degrees from the Royal Academy of Music and now lead very busy lives performing in prestigious company at many major venues. Imogen Hancock who performed last year is a rising star on the British trumpet scene and has just returned from an 11-concert tour of Europe in addition to recording a CD.

Our organiser David Monk has commented “the planned programme will feature short well known pieces from a wide aspect of genres – classical, jazz and popular music – individually, as a pair, a trio or as an ensemble. This will appeal to all and not just to serious classical music enthusiasts. I am confident that a fantastic rousing concert is in store.”

All profits raised will go to our charity account and be used for funding/part funding local and international community needs.
